some stupid old lady lodged a complain against me. she was shocked wen she saw the invoice i sent her.
this is how is went:
the christmas cards cost $14 but she thought it was $10.
i cleared the misunderstanding by repeating myself over the phone and even said the numbers 1 and 4. she said "OKAY", which gave me the impression that she understood me.
she was unhappy wen she saw the invoice and called CANTEEN (my call centre's client and it's a charity organisation for young ppl living with cancer)up.she must have made a huge fuss about it which den led to CANTEEN calling up my workplace to FIRE me!
my company can't do anything much because CANTEEN is their client so they had to go along and terminate my contract.
i just feel tat it's totally unfair. the old lady's hearing problems cost me my job. to hell with telemarketing anyway.
